What to Do If Your Pet Needs Urgent Care

If you suspect your cat or dog is experiencing any symptoms or behaviour that require urgent or emergency care, follow the steps below:

  1. Call Ahead - This allows the hospital team to prepare for your pet's situation and provide any necessary instructions.
  2. Get to an Urgent Care Department as Soon as Possible - Your pet will be triaged and will undergo a full examination by the emergency veterinary team.
  3. Assessment & Treatment Planning - Once your dog or cat's assessment has been completed, the veterinary team will develop a treatment plan for your pet.
